Big Daves Custom Carvings is a family affair. As such allow me to introduce myself. My name is Olivia Sherman and I am Davids wife. What my husband has in droves is creativity and mechanical ability. Neither of which is a talent of mine. As I have witnessed his evolution from tinkerer to craftsman, I have decided to partner with him. I wanted to add my perspective as a person who appreciates beautiful things and who is a luddite and therefore completely untethered to the virtual perspective. Fortunately, Writing is my passion as I have always believed that the right words can make any idea come to life. As such I am going to join my husband on his venture and add my novice perspective to his work. I plan on sharing behind the scenes looks into the process and add my musings and perspectives to the mix.
